About the position

The Behavior Technician will work directly with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to enhance their communication, socialization, life skills, and academic abilities. The role involves implementing treatment plans with specific goals, managing maladaptive behaviors, and conducting daily data collection on client progress.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism (ASD) to increase skills related to communication, socialization, life skills, and academics.
• Follow treatment plans with specific goals for clients.
• Manage maladaptive behaviors such as aggression, tantrums, self-inflicted behavior, and elopement.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior tracking on a daily basis.
• Complete SOAP notes at the end of each daily session.

Requirements

• Valid CPR Certification
• Mental Health Certification
• RBT Certification (to be obtained within 60 days)
• High School diploma or GED
