About the position

The Behavioral Aide position at SafetyNet Behavioral Healthcare involves working directly with youth residents in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). Responsibilities

• Monitor residents throughout the shift
• Follow a daily schedule and lead activities such as cleaning, personal hygiene, basketball, and fishing
• Assist teachers on school days to address behavioral disruptions and help residents with basic academic needs
• Complete daily reports documenting each resident's behavior
• Implement physical safety interventions to manage violent or destructive behavior

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must possess a valid unencumbered Alabama driver's license
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in patient care preferred

Nice-to-haves
