About the position
The Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) at LightHeart Associates is a full-time role focused on delivering high-quality mental health care through collaborative practices. The position emphasizes the importance of Advanced Practice Providers in treatment teams, allowing them to utilize evidence-based treatments and innovative psychiatric interventions. The role involves providing psychiatric assessments, managing psychopharmacological treatments, and working closely with mental health clinicians to support patients' mental health journeys.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work as a team with mental health clinicians who are providing psychotherapy services.
- Provide interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato.
Requirements
- Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience (required).
- Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) (preferred).
- Experience working in an outpatient setting (preferred).
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan (preferred).
Nice-to-haves
