About the position
The Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) role at Columbia Associates is designed for licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants specializing in mental health care. This position emphasizes a collaborative approach to psychiatric treatment, integrating advanced practice providers into multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. The role involves providing psychiatric assessments, managing psychopharmacological treatments, and utilizing innovative interventional therapies such as TMS and Spravato.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with mental health clinicians providing psychotherapy services.
- Administer interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato.
Requirements
- Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience (required).
- Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) (preferred).
- Experience working in an outpatient setting (preferred).
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan (preferred).
