About the position
The Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) position at Columbia Associates is designed for licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who specialize in psychiatric care. This role emphasizes a collaborative approach to mental health treatment, integrating advanced practice providers into multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. The position involves providing psychiatric assessments, managing psychopharmacological treatments, and utilizing innovative interventional therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work as a team with mental health clinicians who are providing psychotherapy services.
- Provide interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato.
Requirements
- Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience (required).
- Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) (preferred).
- Experience working in an outpatient setting (preferred).
- Experience working with clients across the lifespan (preferred).
