Responsibilities

  • Provide community behavioral health services to residents of Berkeley.
  • Handle complex or difficult client cases as a journey-level clinician.
  • Lead teams conducting intake assessments and crisis intervention.
  • Work within case management teams to deliver specialized mental health services.
  • Consult with experienced supervisory staff for guidance and support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or a related field, or a doctorate in Psychology with relevant field placement.
  • Two years of experience in an outpatient clinic, hospital, or mental health program with regular psychiatric consultation.
  • Possession of a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist as per California state law.
  • Ability to travel to various locations within and outside of Berkeley for job responsibilities.
