The Behavioral Health Clinician position at The Hospital of Central Connecticut involves providing comprehensive outpatient care to adults with various behavioral health diagnoses. Responsibilities

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations of inpatient patients to determine mental health and substance abuse care needs.
  • Provide direct clinical psychosocial therapy to patients, utilizing individual, group, and family therapies.
  • Assess each patient's age-specific needs and provide appropriate treatment and care based on growth and development principles.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work required.
  • Active LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Connecticut is required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation and computer skills.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Bilingual in English and another language (Spanish or Polish) required.
