About the position

The Behavioral Health Clinician, Primary Care - In Training position is designed for individuals who will provide brief, evidence-based behavioral health treatment to children and/or adults within a primary care setting. This role emphasizes collaboration with other healthcare providers to conduct assessments, intakes, brief psychotherapy, and case management, ensuring comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide brief, evidence-based behavioral health treatment to children and/or adults in a primary care setting.
  • Work collaboratively with other providers to complete assessments/intakes, brief psychotherapy, case management, and related documentation.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or other Behavioral Health related field.
  • 1 year internship in a behavioral health setting.
  • License eligible as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) upon completion of supervised hours.
  • License required within 2.5 years of hire.
