About the position

The Behavioral Health Manager at Brainwave Optigrators LLC is responsible for providing leadership in the implementation and oversight of behavioral health services within the Emergency Department and Acute Care settings. This role involves collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care, delivering social work services, and providing clinical supervision to caregivers. The manager will also oversee internship placements and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership at the clinical level for behavioral health services in the Emergency Department and Acute Care settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, leaders, and managers to ensure efficient delivery of quality patient care services.
• Lead a team to deliver social work services, psychotherapy, and behavioral health crisis services.
• Provide clinical supervision to caregivers working towards licensure in social work or mental health counseling.
• Oversee internship and practicum placements for social workers and mental health counselors.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License or Washington Mental Health Counselor License or Washington Psychologist License upon hire.
• 5 years of direct clinical care experience with adults having behavioral health conditions.

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of management experience in a clinical setting with demonstrated supervisory competence and program management.
• Experience in organizing and implementing behavioral health services compliant with Department of Health (DOH) and DNV standards.
