About the position

Chester County Respite Network (CCRN) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in providing individualized behavioral support services to participants with special needs in school-based settings. Our mission is to rejuvenate and strengthen individuals and families living with behavioral health, developmental, or other special needs through a child-centered, family-focused, inter-agency team approach. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with teachers and other staff while consulting with and assisting the Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) in the development and implementation of treatment plans. You will also adhere to CCRN documentation standards, completing detailed written progress notes for each Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) session. Responsibilities

  • Provide in-school support to participants with special needs
  • Maintain positive relationships with teachers and other staff

  • Adhere to CCRN documentation standards
  • Complete detailed written progress notes of each IBHS service session

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and three (3) years of direct care experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to obtain necessary clearances and complete CPR/First Aid

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Health related field and three (3) years of direct care experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
