About the position

The Behavioral Health Practice Performance Consultant will support state and national gold card programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating program management. This role involves monitoring program impacts through analytics, managing communications with providers, and collaborating with various departments to address challenges and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in state regulatory and national gold card programs for behavioral health.
  • Monitor and manage programmatic needs of established gold card programs.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to identify challenges and develop solutions for established programs.
  • Manage analytics for each program to align with reporting requirements.
  • Ensure provider communications are completed according to program requirements.
  • Respond to provider and stakeholder inquiries.
  • Utilize analytics to evaluate program impacts.
  • Implement interventions with providers based on program guidelines.
  • Establish recurring status meetings for state regulatory and national gold card programs and coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
  • Evaluate regulatory requirements and updates to ensure compliance and manage communications.

Requirements

  • Independent, active, and unrestricted license.
  • 3+ years of utilization review/utilization management experience in a managed care setting.
  • Experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience communicating with various stakeholders, senior leaders, and providers.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Experienced in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with leadership teams and key stakeholders.
  • Dedicated home office space and reliable high-speed internet.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Experience in provider engagement and relationship management.
  • Experience auditing medical records.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint.
