About the position

The Behavioral Health Professional at LSS Behavioral Health is responsible for providing individual, partner, family, and group therapy to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. This role involves conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with mental health clinic regulations. The position emphasizes a commitment to social justice and health equity, aiming to deliver culturally competent services to a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, partner, family, and group therapy to clients.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide clinical oversight of treatment plans and ensure compliance with mental health clinic statutes.
• Maintain documentation and perform record keeping as required.
• Participate in periodic meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field and active licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC.
• Adherence to licensure ethics and regulations.
• Experience with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and trauma-informed therapies.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a background check.
