About the position

As a Mental Health Professional at LSS Behavioral Health, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups to enhance their quality of life. This role involves conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with mental health clinic regulations. You will work in a supportive and collaborative environment that emphasizes health equity and culturally competent care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, partner, family, and group therapy to clients.
• Complete diagnostic assessments to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide clinical oversight of treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with mental health clinic statutes, including monthly clinical supervision and staff meetings.
• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment progress.
• Participate in periodic meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling).
• Active licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC in good standing with the respective Licensing Board.
• Experience with the current DSM categories of mental health disorders.
• Knowledge of therapeutic interventions and trauma-informed therapies.
• Valid driver's license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Check.
• Ability to assess and treat mental health issues in clients.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
