About the position

The Behavioral Health Program Coordinator at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is responsible for coordinating treatment services for patients with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder using the TMS device. This role involves direct patient care, oversight of the program, and collaboration with referring providers to ensure effective treatment delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for the treatment of depression and obsessive compulsive disorder using the TMS device.
• Administer TMS procedures while monitoring physical and emotional symptoms during the procedure.
• Verify insurance coverage and complete the pre-certification process for services prior to initiating treatment.
• Maintain and complete all referrals for services.
• Manage and analyze referral data, presenting information to providers and administration.
• Communicate appreciation to referral sources actively.
• Initiate appropriate protocols related to medical intervention.

Requirements

• Completion of TMS clinical training within 90 days of employment.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology or related field.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training (may obtain during first 90 days of employment).
• BLS certification (may obtain in the first 90 days of employment).
• Oversight of other BH program technicians who have completed training.
