About the position
The Behavioral Health Service Line Project Manager III is responsible for managing small-to-medium sized projects or components of larger projects within an integrated health care delivery system. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating resources, monitoring project risks, and ensuring stakeholder alignment. The Project Manager will also assist in vendor performance reviews and contract negotiations, contributing to the overall goal of maximizing total health in mind, body, and spirit.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects of small-to-medium size or components of larger projects from initiation to close-out.
- Lead the work of project team members by coordinating internal and external resources.
- Monitor and identify project risks, issues, and trigger events, executing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Ensure alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse project stakeholders.
- Assist with reviews of vendor performance levels and support contract negotiations with vendors.
- Develop, analyze, and execute project plans including scope identification, schedule, and resource forecasts.
- Manage project financials and monitor project performance against plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three years experience in project management or a directly related field, or six years experience in project management or a directly related field.
- Knowledge of applied data analysis, financial acumen, conflict resolution, project management tools, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.
Nice-to-haves
- One year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- One year experience implementing large or complex projects.
