About the position

The Behavioral Health Technician for Community Programs is responsible for providing direct care and support to clients in a community setting. This role focuses on assisting individuals with behavioral health challenges, promoting their well-being, and facilitating their engagement in community resources and activities. The technician will work closely with clients to implement treatment plans and support their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and support to clients with behavioral health challenges.
  • Assist clients in engaging with community resources and activities.
  • Implement treatment plans as directed by clinical staff.
  • Monitor client progress and report any changes to the clinical team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience with crisis intervention techniques.
