About the position
The Behavioral Health Technician for Community Programs is responsible for providing direct care and support to clients in a community setting. This role focuses on assisting individuals with behavioral health challenges, promoting their well-being, and facilitating their engagement in community resources and activities. The technician will work closely with clients to implement treatment plans and support their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to clients with behavioral health challenges.
- Assist clients in engaging with community resources and activities.
- Implement treatment plans as directed by clinical staff.
- Monitor client progress and report any changes to the clinical team.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in behavioral health or related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Experience with crisis intervention techniques.
