Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Part-Time (20 hours per week) Behavioral Health Technician working at our Independ Living Program, East McDowell location. Responsibilities
- Working with persons with SMI designation that are transitioning into Permanent Supportive Housing
- Connect clients to community resources and collaborate with them in developing goals to sustain housing on a long-term basis
- Build community relationships and coordinate care
- Assess service needs of each individual, create treatment plans and case management with coordination of care of all entities involved
- Working in the community and 1-2 with clients in their home
Requirements
- GED/High school diploma with a minimum of 1.5 years of behavioral health experience
- An associate's degree in the field of medical or behavioral health
- A bachelor's degree (not in the field of behavioral health) and 1 year of behavioral health experience
- A bachelor's degree in the field of behavioral health
- A master's degree or higher in the field of behavioral health
- Customer service skills, especially effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility, and within prescribed deadlines
- Basic computer skills
- Must have valid Arizona driver's license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health's driving policy
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role
- Must pass a TB Test
