About the position

The Behavioral Health Technician role focuses on enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum through play-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. The position involves providing direct therapy to young children, implementing intervention plans, and building relationships with families to support their child's development. This role is integral to the mission-driven care model of the organization, emphasizing collaboration and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by expert BCBAs
  • Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress
  • Engage in ongoing training and development

Requirements

  • Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (paid training provided)
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Reliable transportation and ability to meet physical requirements
