About the position

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at The Institute for Behavior Change is a part-time role focused on delivering Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children diagnosed with mental health disorders. BHTs work directly with clients in various settings, including schools and homes, to implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic support. This role is crucial in positively impacting children's lives and involves close collaboration with Behavior Specialists for training and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with a client in either a school or home setting.
  • Implement the authorized treatment plan with a single identified client.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Submit all required weekly paperwork as scheduled.
  • Ensure that training and supervision is received according to IBHS regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social work, or closely related field highly preferred
  • Reliable transportation to and from service location
  • Valid driver's license if using personal vehicle
