About the position
As a Behavioral Health Technician at Soar Autism Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering mission-driven care to children with autism. This position focuses on providing one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-6, implementing tailored intervention plans, and building supportive relationships with families to track and enhance their child's progress.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in the clinic.
- Implement intervention plans crafted by expert BCBAs.
- Foster relationships with families and update them on their child's progress.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program is preferred, especially in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
- Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (paid training provided by Soar).
- Previous experience working with children.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Must meet physical requirements, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Computer and tablet literacy.
