About the position
The Behavioral Health Therapist at Southwest Montana Community Health Center is responsible for providing behavioral health services to a diverse patient population under the direction of the Director of Behavioral Health. The role emphasizes understanding and modeling the clinic's mission, practicing confidentiality, and exhibiting professional behavior while working collaboratively with staff. The therapist will manage a high volume of patient appointments, typically half an hour each, scheduled based on patient needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health services to a diverse patient population.
- Understand and model the mission of Southwest Montana Community Health Center.
- Practice the clinic's policy on confidentiality regarding all clinic information.
- Exhibit professional behavior in all facets of work at SWMTCHC.
- Collaborate and exhibit teamwork with all SWMTCHC staff.
- Manage a high volume of patient appointments, typically half an hour long.
Requirements
- Master's degree required.
- LCSW or LCPC highly preferred; or candidate license required.
- Previous experience working in a team setting or integrated behavioral health model is preferred.
