About the position
The Behavioral Healthcare Provider role at InGenesis involves developing, coordinating, implementing, and providing interdisciplinary services focused on behavioral and biomedical science. The position requires working directly with clients to perform psychosocial interventions and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychosocial interventions with clients.
- Conduct individual, family, or group interventions.
- Develop intervention goals and objectives to educate and resolve problems in functioning.
- Participate in implementing and evaluating treatment system's goals and objectives.
- Interview clients and families to establish case goals and objectives.
- Monitor client's responses to treatment and provide feedback on treatment effectiveness.
- Prepare data including social histories, admission summaries, aftercare summaries, and court documents.
- Attend training meetings, intradepartmental meetings, and court hearings.
- Recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current license as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed RN with a master's in psychology or related field.
- Completion of continuing education requirements for license renewal.
