About the position

The Behavioral Technician position at SUCCESS ON THE SPECTRUM LLC involves working directly with children with autism to implement individualized treatment plans. The role requires a combination of direct client interaction, data collection, and collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This position is essential for supporting the development and progress of children in a structured environment, both in the center and in clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client material creation and preparation
• Directly implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of BCBA
• Incorporate sensory activities into sessions (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
• Record client data into Central Reach program
• Write detailed SOAP notes
• Perform cleaning duties
• Lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active
• Collect, organize, and analyze data on client progress and report to Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
• Abide by all ethical guidelines set forth by the BACB
• Maintain client privacy by HIPAA laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working with children in any setting (school, daycare, etc.)
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Ability to sit on the floor and be physically active
• Pass a drug screen and background check
