About the position

The Behavioral Technician position at Alliance Autism Center involves providing clinical instruction based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities. This part-time role requires working in home and community settings, collecting data on behavioral targets, and promoting client independence through positive reinforcement. The technician will collaborate closely with a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst and assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Implement individual treatment plans developed for each child
• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings
• Follow and record data for prescribed toilet training protocols
• Assist with parent and caregiver training under supervision
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress
• Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
• Assist Behavior Analysts in preparing client materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Completed or currently enrolled in a master's degree program in behavioral or child-development sciences
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in behavioral or child development sciences
• Experience working with children with autism or related conditions
• Experience working with a diverse population
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures
• Commit to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA laws
• Commit to ongoing training and development
