About the position
The BEI Civilian Pay Audit Consultant role at Significance involves supporting the Army FIAR program through audit consulting. The role is hybrid, necessitating onsite work two days a week in Arlington and Tysons Corner, VA, and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in federal financial management and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Support the BEI Civilian Pay team on the Army FIAR program.
- Conduct audits and provide audit support as needed.
- Collaborate across teams to achieve common goals.
- Analyze data to drive meaningful insights and identify problems.
- Present information effectively using Excel and PowerPoint.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance
- Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent certifications (CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM)
- 4+ years of experience with federal financial management
- 2+ years of federal accounting experience
- Strong experience using Excel and PowerPoint for communication and presentations
- Solid base in financial and accounting practices
- Analytical skills to interpret and analyze data.
