About the position

The Bell Labs Radio Systems 6G Intern position is a 10-week internship designed for Ph.D. candidates in relevant fields. Interns will engage in cutting-edge research focused on wireless communications, exploring new algorithms and concepts for the physical layer, and utilizing AI/ML tools. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts and contribute to innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify the state-of-the-art of the proposed project
• Apply relevant analysis and propose potential solutions
• Compare against legacy benchmarks, and provide performance evaluation and recommendations
• Document all the technical details, make internal presentations
• Write internal technical reports for potential conference/journal publications

Requirements

• Currently a candidate for a Ph.D. degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong self-motivation with good troubleshooting skills
• Excellent background in wireless communication and signal processing
• Good track record in scientific publication
