The Managing Director/Partner at Beloved Companions, LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pet funeral and cremation services. This role requires a compassionate individual who can guide families through the funeral process with empathy and professionalism, ensuring that each service meets the family's needs and wishes. The position involves managing logistics, providing bereavement support, and maintaining high standards of customer service throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all funeral service arrangements, ensuring that each service meets the family's needs and wishes.
- Provide bereavement support to families, offering guidance and comfort during their time of loss.
- Prepare the deceased for viewing by sanitizing, dressing, and cosmetizing as necessary.
- Manage logistics for funerals, including transportation, event planning, and coordination with cemeteries or crematories.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and manage financial transactions related to funeral services.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service throughout the entire process to ensure families feel supported and cared for.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless experience for families during their time of need.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on empathy and understanding in sensitive situations.
- Experience in event planning to effectively manage funeral services from start to finish.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling caskets or moving equipment.
- Strong sales skills to assist families in selecting appropriate services and products that meet their needs.
- Bereavement support skills to provide emotional assistance to grieving families during difficult times.
