About the position

The Belt Fabricator Technician at Belt Power LLC is responsible for the fabrication and installation of conveyor belts and related products, either in-house or at customer sites. This role emphasizes quality workmanship and safety while supporting the needs of the processing, manufacturing, and material handling industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair belts and conveyor belt components.
• Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting.
• Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock area and follow sales orders.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies.
• Fabricate, install, and repair conveyor belting.
• Ensure safety during all operations.
• Exercise proper care in the use of tools and equipment.
• Detect and report defective equipment, material, and any unusual conditions.
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
• Represent Belt Power in a professional manner.
• Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Basic math skills and computer skills.
• Ability to interpret and verify precise measurements using a tape measure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in tight spaces.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Maintenance or belt technician experience preferred.
• Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems.

Benefits

• Full-time position with typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional weekend work.
