About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (validation required)
• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and complete necessary production forms
• Ability to speak effectively with fellow employees and/or customers
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, rates, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

Responsibilities

• Check the schedule for production priorities and demands
• Setup the machine according to production needs and gather necessary materials
• Visually check the belts for defects or poor quality
• Fill out appropriate belt/production tickets for each load of belts
• Solve routine technical problems
• Comply with all policies and procedures while maintaining a clean work environment
• Adhere to all company safety & health policies
• Willing and able to work any shift
• Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned.
