About the position

The Bench General Manager at Luna Grill is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This role involves coaching and developing future leaders, making personnel decisions, and maintaining high standards for production and guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Build a team of top performers by coaching and developing future leaders.
  • Provide clear, consistent direction and performance feedback to team members.
  • Make personnel decisions regarding transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Listen to team member suggestions for improving work processes and guest service.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years restaurant experience, with knowledge of both BOH and FOH preferred.
  • Three (3) years supervisory/management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work productively with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
  • Computer literate using Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
