About the position

The Bench Technician - Level 3 position at Century Solutions Group, Inc. involves providing maintenance, service, and support for computer hardware, software, networking, and telephony equipment. The role requires performing technical support functions such as installation, configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance of various computing devices while working under the supervision of the Integration Manager. The technician will prioritize work orders and operate with a degree of independence.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software.
• Assemble and configure computers, servers, monitors, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including email and network problems.
• Manage the return process for defective equipment to vendors or manufacturers.
• Provide help desk support to assist users with equipment and data issues.
• Act as escalation support for other Bench Technicians.

Requirements

• Completion of two years of college-level coursework in computer science or related field, or two years of general computer installation and maintenance experience.
• CompTIA A+ certification is required.
• CompTIA Server+ certification or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
