About the position

The Benefit and Human Resource Coordinator at Davis-Ulmer Sprinkler Co. is responsible for overseeing various HR-related tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of HR data and processes while providing administrative support to the HR department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Handle incoming calls, monitor inbox, and correspondence related to HR matters.
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as memos, announcements, and policy updates.
  • Ensure all HR documentation is accurate and up to date, including maintenance of internal operating procedures.
  • Ensure internal HR files are clean and organized.
  • Process monthly drug and background screening invoices.
  • Reconcile 401K changes and new benefit enrollments (including dependent verifications).
  • Conduct yearly auditing of I-9's, PTO overrides, etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of HR data.
  • Maintain data changes within HR systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in HR operations or a related HR role.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Previous experience in system implementations.
