About the position

The Benefits & Absence Analyst at Zoom is responsible for administering and communicating the company's benefits programs. This role involves managing plan options, policy features, and enrollment processes, enhancing operational efficiencies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting employees with inquiries related to benefits and leave.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current benefit administration processes to identify gaps and propose actionable recommendations for enhancements.
  • Support vendor management with benchmarking and benefits research, analyzing market data to assess position and recommend enhancements.
  • Oversee and communicate the company's benefits programs, ensuring employees are well-informed about plan options and enrollment processes.
  • Support the planning and implementation of benefits initiatives, including wellness programs, while assessing costs and employee engagement levels.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy across systems, identify process gaps, and maintain updated documentation.
  • Build stakeholder relationships for vendor onboarding and contract approvals, while serving as the primary contact for employee benefits and leave inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role.
  • In-depth understanding of employee benefits, including wellness and retirement programs, and regulations governing leaves of absence (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (ideally Workday) and benefits administration software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, follow up diligently, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Proven track record of thriving in fast-moving environments, managing multiple tasks, and adapting to changing priorities.
