About the position

As a Benefits Analyst at Gates Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in the design, evaluation, and administration of employee benefits programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our benefits offerings are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, and aligned with the company's overall objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of benefits strategies, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. You will be based in our downtown Denver office, where you will work closely with the HR team and external consultants to develop and implement benefits strategies that meet the needs of our diverse workforce. In this role, you will administer a variety of benefits packages, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans. You will conduct regular reviews and analyses of existing benefits programs to ensure they remain competitive and cost-effective. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you collect and analyze data to identify trends and support vendor relationships. You will also be responsible for educating employees and providing guidance to resolve complex benefits issues and inquiries. Leading the annual open enrollment process will be another key responsibility, which includes managing communications, training, and system updates. Compliance is a critical aspect of this role, and you will ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to employee benefits. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding benefits program performance and recommendations for improvement. Participation in special projects related to benefits, such as mergers, acquisitions, or system implementations, will also be part of your responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Administer benefits packages, including health, dental, vision, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of existing benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

  • Support in vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and external consultants on benefits strategy and compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience in benefits administration or related HR field.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
