About the position

The Senior Total Rewards Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Total Rewards Department, providing comprehensive support to the Director of Total Rewards and serving as a knowledgeable deputy in their absence. This individual is responsible for aligning total rewards strategies with organizational objectives, managing compensation and benefits programs, conducting data analysis, and facilitating communication and education initiatives. While not directly managing a team, the Senior Total Rewards Analyst serves as a trusted advisor, contributing expertise and leadership to enhance the effectiveness of total rewards programs. In this role, the analyst will collaborate closely with the Director of Total Rewards to align total rewards initiatives with organizational goals and objectives. They will assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive total rewards strategies aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating talent. The analyst will also contribute insights and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation and benefits programs. The Senior Total Rewards Analyst will oversee the day-to-day administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Regular audits and reviews will be conducted to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance. As a subject matter expert on compensation and benefits matters, the analyst will provide guidance and support to HR colleagues and employees. Data analysis is a critical component of this position, as the analyst will collect, analyze, and interpret data related to compensation, benefits, and employee demographics. They will prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and trends, and utilize data-driven approaches to inform decision-making and enhance the impact of total rewards initiatives. Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and senior leadership, is essential. The analyst will act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits programs, providing timely and accurate information. They will also develop communication materials to educate employees on total rewards offerings and changes. Additionally, the analyst will support the Director in executing special projects and initiatives related to total rewards, such as annual compensation reviews, benefit plan redesigns, and system implementations. They will coordinate cross-functional efforts and collaborate with external vendors to achieve project objectives, taking ownership of specific project tasks and deliverables to ensure successful completion within established timelines and budgets. Participation in compensation surveys and benchmarking activities will be part of the role, analyzing data to inform compensation decisions. The analyst will assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefits programs, as well as support the development and administration of recognition programs to promote a culture of appreciation. They will also conduct training sessions or workshops to enhance employee understanding of total rewards and foster appreciation for organizational investments in employee well-being.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, benefits, or related HR functions.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Suite, most importantly in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
