About the position

The Benefits and Wellness Coordinator at Havtech LLC plays a crucial role in supporting the HR team by administering health benefits, managing wellness initiatives, and addressing employee inquiries regarding benefits. This position is designed for a collaborative individual who can effectively coordinate wellness programs and ensure accurate processing of benefits-related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the company's wellness program and support wellness initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate events, seminars, and classes that promote fitness activities and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Administer health and welfare plans including benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations through HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
  • Assist with reviewing monthly billings from insurance providers for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the company.
  • Complete reports for management as requested.
  • Assist HR personnel with annual open enrollment by producing and distributing information, communicating with carriers, and auditing enrollment information.
  • Process enrollment changes within deadlines and assure all files are up to date.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and explain available benefit offerings.
  • Maintain confidential employee information and documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources or relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Experience working with or interest in wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • PC experience in Windows environment and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Experience with benefit or wellness platforms preferred but not required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll system is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
