About the position

The Temporary Benefits Coordinator at Viasat plays a vital role in administering employee benefit programs, particularly focusing on the gym reimbursement program and document management. This hybrid position allows for collaboration in the Carlsbad office while also offering remote work flexibility. The coordinator will enhance employee wellness and satisfaction through effective program management and compliance, ensuring that all benefit-related documentation is accurately maintained and processed.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify annual gym reimbursement submissions for accuracy and compliance with program guidelines.
  • Collaborate with employees to resolve any discrepancies or missing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of reimbursement and ensure timely payments.
  • Organize, scan and store physical employee documents into the document management system.
  • Ensure all documents are handled and stored in compliance with regulations.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience supporting benefits in an HR department.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Experience with rules and regulations governing PII handling and storage requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and team members.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior Workday experience.
  • Prior Revver experience or other comparable document management system.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
