About the position

The Benefits Coordinator at PACS plays a crucial role in managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. This position serves as the first point of contact for benefit-related inquiries and assists employees with various healthcare claim issues. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and support for medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as short-term and long-term disability benefits. The coordinator will also assist with annual benefit renewals and ensure timely updates to benefits changes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for benefit-related queries and assist employees with healthcare claim issues.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all internal customers via ticketing system, calls, emails, and potentially in person.
  • Provide support and assistance to employees with medical, dental, vision, short-term, long-term, and supplemental benefits.
  • Assist with the annual benefit renewal process.
  • Ensure benefits changes are entered timely and accurately.
  • Ensure distribution of required employee notices regarding benefits.
  • Conduct audits as directed to ensure compliance with benefit programs.
  • Assist with required reporting and compliance related to benefits.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of benefits-related experience preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in Workday is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard computer and office software.
