About the position

The Human Resource Generalist will support all human resource and talent management needs, partnering with the HR team, management, and associates to foster a high-performance culture through various HR initiatives. This role involves training, benefits administration, HRIS data management, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and participate in training sessions, including orientation for new hires.
  • Provide support for the administration of employee benefits programs such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • Perform regular benefits activities including processing invoices and completing monthly audits.
  • Manage HRIS data entry for new hires, internal transfers, and pay rate changes.
  • Assist with reporting, analysis, and compliance activities of key HR metrics.
  • Manage the leave of absence process and ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Support immigration activities including H-1B visa documentation and I-9 maintenance.
  • Assist in planning and executing annual HR projects such as open enrollment and wellness events.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in delivering high-volume HR services or equivalent administrative support role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field preferred.
  • Ability to solve practical problems in varied situations with limited standardization.
  • Experience in Human Resources within a large operation or high-growth environment is highly desired.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Ability to use various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office.
