About the position

The Benefits Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting clients and their employees by ensuring timely and accurate benefits administration. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in benefits administration, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for responding to client requests and inquiries within a four-hour window during normal business hours, ensuring that all interactions are documented accurately in SalesForce. The role demands a high level of accuracy, with a target of processing all benefit transactions with over 95% accuracy. The Benefits Coordinator will also manage COBRA enrollments, audits, employee communications, and payments, as well as support the setup and deconversion of 401K plans and address tier 1 client questions regarding retirement plans. Additionally, the coordinator will handle qualifying life events for worksite employees, including collecting necessary documents and managing dependent enrollments and unenrollments. The position also involves owning the ACA audit process and collaborating with Benefit Consultants to ensure client compliance. During open enrollment periods, the Benefits Coordinator will support the benefits team by assisting with presentation creation and enrollments.

Responsibilities

  • Submit, audit, and reconcile weekly HSA/FSA files.
  • Manage COBRA enrollments, audits, employee communications, and payments.
  • Support 401K setups, deconversions, and tier 1 client questions about retirement plans.
  • Manage qualifying life events for worksite employees, including collecting documents and dependent enrollment/unenrollment.
  • Own the ACA audit process and work with Benefit Consultants to ensure client compliance.
  • Support the benefits team in the open enrollment process, including presentation creation and enrollments.

Requirements
