About the position

The Benefits Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team during the Open Enrollment season and will be responsible for managing employee benefits inquiries and changes. This position requires effective collaboration with vendors, management, and employees to ensure a smooth benefits administration process.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up employee benefits in ADP
  • Auditing benefits plans in employee profiles
  • Providing information to explain changes in benefits to employees
  • Answering employee queries about benefits plans
  • Collaborating effectively with vendors, management, and employees about changes to existing benefits plans
  • Reconciling benefit vendor invoices
  • Coordinating and communicating Open Enrollment, including preparing materials and presenting benefit plan changes to employees
  • Keeping all employee personal information confidential

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of benefits related experience
  • Experience with open enrollment is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish & English (able to speak and write in both)
  • Knowledge of benefit plans including Health, Dental, Vision, FSA, HSA, Life/Add, STD, LTD, EAP, Voluntary plans, and 401K plans
  • Understanding of Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA
  • Ability to present information clearly and understandably to employees
