About the position

The position involves assisting employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries, verifying insurance billing, and maintaining employee records. The role supports the company's practices and objectives while delivering excellent customer service to internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all internal customers.
  • Conduct benefits orientations.
  • Prepare and set up meetings to help employees understand company benefits and related programs.
  • Field incoming employee and manager calls and emails.
  • Assist employees with benefits eligibility, claims, and questions.
  • Assist supervisors and managers in handling employee issues and complaints.
  • Resolve employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers.
  • Process enrollments quickly and accurately.
  • Ensure new enrollment paperwork is complete.
  • Ensure benefits changes are entered timely.
  • Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Assist with the administration of COBRA.
  • Assist with required reporting and compliance.
  • Conduct audits as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Ability to show judgment and to work independently
  • High integrity and discretion required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
