About the position

The Benefits Coordinator at Hilb Group plays a crucial role in managing and updating renewal activities within the company database, ensuring accurate record-keeping and client communication. This remote position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a service-driven culture and is eager to contribute to the team's success while developing their professional skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update renewal activity in company database
  • Collect asset statements for pooled and FBO accounts and save to the proper folder
  • Pull files from the website for recordkeeper accounts
  • Upload client contributions to recordkeepers
  • Follow up with clients for census submission
  • Submit Form 8955-SSA and Form 5500
  • Follow up and submit cash out distributions for participants with less than $5,000
  • Submit vesting uploads to recordkeepers

Requirements

  • Formal education in the form of an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
  • Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability
  • Background in group benefits, human resources, or customer service is a plus
