About the position

The Benefits/HR Coordinator at Middough Inc. plays a crucial role in managing HRIS systems, benefit administration, and providing support for HR-related inquiries. This position involves coordinating various benefit processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and managers regarding benefit programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate benefits processing including new hire enrollments, COBRA events, terminations, and life/disability claims.
  • Assist with FMLA requests and general employee leave requests.
  • Support benefit open enrollment processes and provide employee orientation on benefits.
  • Provide customer service regarding benefit programs and HR inquiries.
  • Compile HR data and run monthly reports as directed by the VP of HR.
  • Maintain employee personnel and HR documentation per policy.
  • Collaborate with corporate functions and colleagues on joint initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on HRIS experience required.
  • 3+ years of hands-on benefit and human resources experience required.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Oracle, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable.
  • SHRM credential desirable.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Highly effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
