About the position

The Benefits Operations Analyst position is part of the Benefits Team within the Talent Experience Operations (TEO) team at Netflix. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering innovative benefit offerings that align with Netflix's unique culture, which emphasizes creativity, innovation, and inclusion. The analyst will work closely with the Benefits Operations Manager to execute the operations strategy, design, and administration of various benefits programs. This includes overseeing the operational work and strategy related to the benefit programs from inception to completion, ensuring that they meet the needs of employees across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, the analyst will partner with the Benefits Program Partner to implement and launch new benefit programs, ensuring that all financial, legal, and supplier management aspects are handled effectively in collaboration with Finance and Accounts Payable. The analyst will also work closely with stakeholders such as Payroll and HRIS to facilitate accurate data exchange, resolve file feed issues, and ensure the smooth operation of benefit programs. A significant responsibility will be leading the operations of the annual Open Enrollment and other program implementations, while also navigating the compliance landscape that governs UCAN benefits. The analyst will engage with the Employee Services Generalist team and healthcare partners to support them in addressing employee benefit inquiries and escalations. This role requires the creation of clear benefit communications and the enhancement of internal and external benefits sites, utilizing innovative communication methods. Additionally, the analyst will manage the Workday benefits module, resolving eligibility issues, implementing system improvements, and testing changes to ensure optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Benefits Operations Manager to carry out the operations strategy, design, and administration of Netflix benefits.
  • Oversee and be responsible for the operational work and strategy as it relates to the benefit programs from start to finish.
  • Partner closely with the Benefits Program Partner to implement and launch new benefit programs.
  • Manage financial, legal, and supplier relationships by partnering with Finance and AP.
  • Collaborate with Payroll and HRIS to ensure accurate data exchange and resolve file feed issues.
  • Lead the operations of the annual Open Enrollment and other program implementations.
  • Understand and execute the compliance landscape governing UCAN benefits.
  • Support Employee Services Generalist team in responding to employee benefit inquiries and draw insights from their communications.
  • Create clear benefit communications and enhance the internal and external benefits site.
  • Manage the Workday benefits module, resolve eligibility issues, and implement system improvements.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years in a Benefits specific role
  • Experience using Workday
  • HR experience at entertainment or technology organizations, or in a similarly fast-paced, agile environment
