The Benefits Specialist/Assistant HR Manager at Vaco is responsible for managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with employment laws and practices. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4-8 years of Human Resources related experience
  • Prior benefits experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Experience in administration of employee benefits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and with vendors
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills
  • Prompt and dependable attendance, organized, team player
