About the position

The Benefits Specialist Team Facilitator at Bellin Health is responsible for leading a team of Benefits Specialists in the administration and communication of employee benefit plans and leaves. This role involves assisting employees and leaders in understanding various paid and non-paid leave programs, while closely partnering with HR Representatives to manage eligibility and track Family Medical Leave.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Benefits Specialists in developing and administering employee benefits.
  • Implement and communicate employee benefit plans and leave programs.
  • Assist employees and leaders in understanding paid and non-paid leave options.
  • Partner with HR Representatives to manage eligibility and track Family Medical Leave.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with three to five years of employee benefits experience or seven to ten years of experience in Human Resources with progressive accountabilities, preferably in benefits.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Customer service experience related to employee benefits administration.
  • Leadership experience in a relevant field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with medical, Flex/Flex Spending Accounts (FSA), life, dental, vision, and voluntary life insurance.
  • Knowledge of Federal Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA).
  • Experience with long and short-term disability and 401(k)/pension plans.
