About the position

The Benefits Technology Analyst plays a crucial role in the implementation, support, and renewal of Employer and Participant Support Service offerings at Foundation Risk Partners. This hybrid position requires collaboration with the Client Engagement Manager to ensure timely delivery and maintenance of benefits administration technologies, while also staying updated on relevant regulations affecting employee benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain Client Solutions Products, including Benefits Administration System.
  • Ensure all documentation for installing BenAdmin platforms is current and accurate.
  • Identify and resolve issues with minimal guidance.
  • Create and execute test scripts to ensure error-free deliverables.
  • Facilitate meetings with the Client Engagement Manager to gather necessary information during implementation and renewal processes.
  • Acquire and maintain data for BenAdmin systems from various sources.
  • Utilize technology tools to manipulate data for BenAdmin portals and billing reconciliation.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with standards through analysis and validation.
  • Investigate data quality issues and develop recommendations for resolution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions for data issues.
  • Mitigate outstanding issues that may affect implementation success.
  • Evaluate and identify necessary system enhancements.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends or patterns.
  • Work with leadership to prioritize business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in health and welfare benefits administration.
  • Experience in brokerage with clients having 100 or more employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Solid knowledge of HRO/Benefits Administration.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data administration skills, including manipulation of pivot tables and data conversion.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Quality assurance and technology skills relevant to the industry.
  • Understanding of programming fundamentals is preferred.
  • Experience with data discovery and root cause analysis.

  • Experience with PlanSource, Employee Navigator, and/or ADPWFN.
