As a member of the Johnson Controls team, you will participate in the Early Career Sales Engineering (BEST) Program, a 6-month technical sales development initiative designed for recent college graduates. This program focuses on strategic selling of Johnson Controls' Fire products and services to commercial customers. You will leverage your technical engineering knowledge and business acumen to understand customer needs and provide expert guidance on product and project requirements. The program includes a combination of classroom training, field orientation, and on-the-job training, equipping you with the necessary skills to support customers effectively alongside the sales team. Throughout the program, you will engage with architects, engineers, and building owners, helping them make informed product selections. You will also be involved in estimating job bids, preparing proposals, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors. Your role will include making sales calls to generate new business, presenting solutions to customers, and collecting market intelligence to inform your strategies. By the end of the program, you will be well-prepared to contribute to the local sales team and the broader national network of sales professionals at Johnson Controls.
