About the position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager at BestDrive plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager with the operational aspects of running a tire dealership. This position focuses on managing back office functions, including administrative tasks, warehousing, and logistics for customer deliveries. The role is designed to develop the necessary skills for future consideration as a Store Manager, emphasizing exceptional customer service and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of all transactional paperwork functions in the store, including inventory tracking and customer billing.
• Manage inventory warehousing, including stock replenishment and distribution of inventory.
• Perform physical inventories based on company guidelines.
• Manage the logistical movement of tires between the store, retread plant, and customer locations.
• Assist with inbound customer calls and order placements.
• Communicate pricing with customers both on-site and over the phone.
• Effectively manage a team responsible for back office support functions.
• Eventually manage a team of Service Technicians as store revenue grows.
• Communicate daily with the Store Manager and adhere to company safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License in good standing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Multitasking ability
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice-to-haves

• 1-2 years previous management experience
• Previous tire dealership experience
• Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
